Hero Marketer

Facebook Ads reporting tool

Your CEO will ask which placements paid off.

Ads Manager can break spend down by placement, age and gender once you build the table. This Facebook Ads reporting tool has them ready, with cost per conversion beside each. Walk into the meeting knowing where the budget worked.

The placement that bought nothing

Why it's different

Ads Manager gives you columns, not the answer.

Hero Marketer

Has placements, ages and genders ready, with cost per conversion beside each

Leaves you to add the breakdown to a table and pick the columns

Puts what changed and the next step above the numbers

Leaves you to work out what changed and what to say

Measures click through rate and cost per click on link clicks

Counts likes, comments and shares as clicks in Clicks (all)

Shows how often people saw each ad next to its results

Leaves you to line up frequency and results yourself

Your dashboard

See where your ads ran, and who saw them.

On Meta the same budget can run on Facebook Feed, Instagram Stories or Audience Network, and a click count won't tell you which one bought anything. Your dashboard shows cost and conversions by placement, age and gender.

Ready when you connect
No report to build. Campaigns, trends, ages and placements are there on day one. Move them, resize them, or add a saved report.
The summary reads them too
It checks your open alerts and these tiles, so you don't tell your CEO cost per conversion fell while a placement ate the budget.
Meta's own count, and we say so
Conversions are Results at 7 day click and 1 day view, and clicks are link clicks. Ads Manager matches when it uses the same attribution setting.

What comes next

Your report says what changed.
Hero AI takes it from there.

When someone asks why a number moved, take the question to Hero AI. It can pause a campaign, ad set or ad, or set a daily budget or bid, after you approve the card. For anything else, it tells you where to change it in Ads Manager.

Your report

One brief, ready to send.

No pasting numbers into a slide. Each brief says what changed, the figures behind it and the next step, in a PDF you can send before the meeting.

Common questions

What to know before you try the Facebook Ads reporting tool.

Will it change anything in my Meta ad account?

No, not without your approval. Reports and summaries only read your account. When Hero AI finds a fix, such as pausing an ad set or setting a budget, it runs only after you click Approve and apply.

Will the numbers match Ads Manager?

Yes, when Ads Manager uses the same attribution setting. Conversions are Results at 7 day click and 1 day view, and spend, impressions and link clicks come straight from Meta, in the account's own days.

I'm not a Meta Ads expert. Can I explain this to my CEO?

Yes. It says what changed in plain words, with the figures from your account for this period and the last. It says so when there's too little data to trust, and you can edit the wording before you send it.

Can it show which placements and ages bought results?

Yes. Your dashboard shows placements, ages and genders with cost, conversions and cost per conversion, read from Meta when you open it. The AI summary reads them too.

What does the Facebook Ads reporting tool cost?

Signing up, the dashboard, reports and CSV export are free, and so is your first AI summary on each account. After that, a summary uses about 0.01 credits and a report brief is charged by use. PDF export is free but needs a balance above zero. Daily checks cost 0.25 credits a day for each account. Credits come in $20 packs with no monthly fee, and unused credits are refundable within 90 days of purchase.

Our leads cost more this month. Is it Google or LinkedIn?

LinkedIn. Its cost per lead rose from $180 to $260, and 46% of its clicks came from people at entry level, who rarely become leads for you. Google held at $74 a conversion, so leave it alone.
