Overview
This policy explains how to cancel your Hero Marketer subscription and when you can request a refund. Hero Marketer is an AI powered Google Ads management platform sold as a monthly subscription. Billing is handled by Paddle, who acts as our merchant of record.
Cancellation Policy
Subscription Cancellation
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard.
- There are no long term contracts and no cancellation fees.
- You keep access to the platform until the end of your current billing period.
- Your account stays in our systems for a short period after cancellation so you can reactivate without losing your work. See "What Happens After Cancellation" below.
How to Cancel
- Sign in to your Hero Marketer dashboard.
- Open Settings, then Plan.
- Click "Manage billing & invoices". This opens our secure billing portal, hosted by Paddle, where you can manage your payment method, view past invoices, and cancel the subscription.
- Select the option to cancel and confirm.
What Happens After Cancellation
- Your Google Ads campaigns continue to run inside your Google Ads account, independent of Hero Marketer.
- You keep full access to your Google Ads account directly through Google.
- Your Hero Marketer account data may remain in our systems for up to 30 days after cancellation so you can reactivate without losing your work. If you want an export of your campaign data, or you want your account deleted sooner, email [email protected] and we will take care of it.
- You can reactivate your account at any time by starting a new subscription.
Refund Policy
Monthly Subscriptions
- If you cancel within 14 days of your first subscription and you have used less than 10% of your plan's credits, you can request a full refund by emailing [email protected].
- After those 14 days, or once you have used 10% or more of your credits, the current billing period is non refundable.
- Future billing periods are not charged after you cancel.
- Hero Marketer offers monthly plans only. We do not currently sell annual subscriptions.
Refund Eligibility
After the 14 days described above, we will also issue refunds for:
- Incorrect charges or billing errors.
- Duplicate charges.
Refund Process
- Email [email protected] with your account email and the reason for the request.
- We review the request and respond, typically within 1 to 2 business days.
- If approved, the refund is issued by Paddle, our payment processor, back to the original payment method.
- The time it takes for the refund to appear on your statement depends on Paddle's processing window and your bank or card issuer, and is usually a few business days.
Exceptions
Non Refundable Items
- Third party integration costs charged by other services.
- Google Ads spend, which is billed by Google directly and is never charged by Hero Marketer.
