Hero AI Investigation Agent Live

We spend $3,000 a month on Google Ads. Is it doing anything, or should I turn it off?

Deep dive · about 3 minutes

Broad searches $1,900 · 1 signup

Keep it, but not as it is. Ten of your 11 signups came from 4 keywords, at $114 each. The other $1,900 went to broad searches like "free crm template" and brought 1.

Block those searches first, then judge again in 30 days. Eleven signups is thin data, so read this as a direction, not a verdict.

What you've tried

The usual fixes don't fit a founder's week.

Three things founders try before they end up here. Two fail in predictable ways. The third reads your live account and your product before it answers.

Option 1

Hand it to an agency

Retainers start around $2,000 a month, and the first report takes weeks. It tells you what happened. Deciding what to do is still on you.

Sells hours, not decisions
Option 2

Ask ChatGPT

It sees what you paste, or what a connector you set up yourself fetches. It defaults to ecommerce advice, and every change is still yours to make or check.

Your setup, your checks
Option 3

Hero Marketer

Reads your live account and your product before it answers. Plain answers, fixes you approve in the same chat, and no monthly fee. Credits are $20 a pack.

Built around what you sell

Three moments

The questions founders type at 11 PM.

Three illustrative moments from accounts founders run themselves. The question you'd ask, and the answer Hero AI gives.

FILE 01 · Clicks but no signups

When you ask

"We get plenty of clicks but hardly any signups. Is it the ads or the site?"

Tuesday night, between a deploy and the investor update.

Hero AI · Investigation → Recommendation

The ads are doing their job. Click-through rate held at 6.8%, and cost per click is in line with the last 120 days. The problem starts after the click.

The Free CRM ads send people to /pricing, which converts at 1.1%. The same ads converted at 4.6% when they pointed to /free, before the switch three weeks ago.

Point them back to /free in Google Ads. If the pricing page is where you want them, I can draft a version that answers what the ad promised. Want the page draft?

FILE 02 · The first campaign

When you ask

"We've never run Search ads. What should our first campaign go after?"

Launch week. One product page, no PPC background.

Hero AI · Keyword research → Ad copy

STEP 1 · KEYWORD RESEARCH Up to three clusters of buying-intent terms for the US, each with Google's monthly searches and our click and budget estimates. "Free CRM for small business" comes first as the recommended ad group.
STEP 2 · AD COPY 15 headlines and 4 descriptions for that cluster, written from your product context.
STEP 3 · CAMPAIGN BUILDER The builder runs the same research from your seed keyword, writes the ads, and publishes one Google Search campaign. It goes live when publishing finishes.

The budget estimates are our planning math on Google's numbers, not Google's forecast. Want the clusters as a table?

FILE 03 · A campaign against a competitor

When you ask

"Buyers compare us to Pipedrive. Build us a campaign against them."

Paste their URL. Get angles, keywords and ads that stay trademark safe.

Hero AI · Competitor campaign

Three angles, grounded in your product: free to start, set up in a day, and built for teams of 1 to 5 reps.

For the US: a competitor keyword plan with Google's monthly searches for each term, and draft ads that lead with your strengths without using their trademark.

Nothing is created in Google Ads. To run it, use the campaign builder's Competitor category, which bids on their name and keeps it out of the ad text. Want the draft ads as a table?

How the deep dive works How keyword research works

How it fits

Twenty minutes a week.
Alerts for the rest.

Setup takes a few minutes: connect Google Ads and get a free scan. The first time you build a campaign, Hero Marketer reads your website to draft your product profile, and you check it once. After that, the weekly rhythm is "ask the question, act on the answer." It is designed to take under twenty minutes a week.

Between visits, alerts email you when something breaks. Automations you switch on can block search terms that waste money and pause keywords that spend without signups, within daily caps, and every action they take is one click to revert.

Why this exists

Most founders I worked with had already paid an agency once.

John Selvinraj · 9 years running B2B SaaS Google Ads accounts
Founder, Hero Marketer

Same pattern every time: a discovery call, an audit that ran for 60 pages, three months of template work, then a renewal priced higher than the last quarter. The report named the metric and stopped at the question.

Hero Marketer was built to close that gap. Every diagnosis comes with the next step, every recommendation names what it depends on, and when the data won't support a confident call, it says so.

Why I created Hero Marketer

Questions founders ask

The honest answers before you sign up.

What if my account is small?

Hero Marketer never takes a share of your ad spend. You pay for the AI work you run and for daily monitoring, 0.25 credits a day for each account (about $7.50 a month), so a small account costs little to run. On a small or new account, Hero AI tells you plainly when there isn't enough data to steer bidding, which is a useful answer for a few credits.

How is this different from ChatGPT?

ChatGPT sees what you paste, or your account through a connector you set up and supervise yourself. It knows your product only as well as you brief it, and it defaults to ecommerce assumptions that break for B2B SaaS sales cycles. Hero AI comes connected, so every answer is grounded in your live Google Ads data. Ad copy and landing pages are written from your product profile, and keyword research is filtered to what your product does. The same chat that explains a fix can apply it once you approve the change on a card with the exact values.

Could it spend more of my money?

Only if you approve it or switch it on. Hero AI changes nothing until you click Approve and apply on a card with the exact values. Automations stay off until you preview them and switch them on. Of the recommended automations, only one raises budgets, and only on Search campaigns that are losing impressions to budget, within weekly limits. Every automation action can be reverted.

Do I have to talk to sales?

No. Sign up with Google, connect your account and get a free scan, all without a call. If you'd like a walkthrough on your own campaigns, book 30 minutes with the founder.

How do refunds work?

Credit packs are one-off purchases with no contract. If you turn on auto top up, it runs as a yearly credit subscription, and switching it off in Settings, then Billing cancels it straight away. Unused credits are refundable within 90 days of the purchase that bought them. Email [email protected], say which purchase you mean, and a person handles it. Paddle refunds the unused credits to your original payment method, minus its processing fee. Credits you already spent are not refundable.

I'm a developer founder. Will I understand the output?

Hero AI talks in the numbers you already watch: spend, conversions like trial signups, cost per conversion, and conversion rate. If you have shipped a product and watched a free trial signup land in your CRM, you will read the output without a glossary. When the agent uses something technical, it explains what changed and why.
